Newnan is a rapidly growing town just short of an hour southwest of Atlanta. It is seat of Coweta County. It is unusually prosperous for the region, and prides itself on its air of old-fashioned hospitality.

- A Newnan secret, Mother's Kitchen has no sign, and doesn't advertise. It just serves up some of the best soul food that you can find, but come early for lunch, because they stop serving when it's gone.
