Sid Garringer was senior wrangler on Lost Waters Ranch. He found a job for his cousin Jeff, and then became worried at a number of unusual goings-on on the ranch.
When X-Factor arrived under a variety of covers as a part of the Hotel Colorado mission, Sid began a romance with agent Sal Harper, only to later shove her off a cliff and cause other trouble for the team under the psionic directive of Jeff and the Shadow King.
Personality[]
Sid worked with horses his whole life and has a deep affinity for the animals, as well as a peaceful gentleness of spirit that can either be calming to those around him, or leave people with the feeling that he's as dumb as a rock. A peaceful nature inclined to shyness does not make being social his strong suit, and his social interactions with guests tend to be limited to handling their horsey issues.
Sid is a keen observer, in his quiet way, and tends to remember things about people. Generally he sees enough of people that he tends to prefer the company of horses to the company of humans. He habitually goes for a run at daybreak to get the blood pumping and only very rarely indulges in human vices like alcohol, tobacco, or sex. He is very bad at small talk, but can be engaged upon more horsey topics with less difficulty.
He has very strong family ties and loyalty.

Engaged in a romantic relationship with former X-Factor agent Sal Harper, which ended in a pregnancy and the birth of Sal's son on February 14, 2010.

Sid is a deft hand with horses and spent most of his time arranging a riding lesson or a group tour out on the hill trails or wrangling his small fleet of stable hands to keep the horses appropriately and to his liking.
